Haughton Castle, Humshaugh, Northumberland

Haughton Castle is not far from the North Tyne, near Humshaugh in Northumberland.

The castle dates from the 13th century. In the 14th Century the house was enlarged and fortified with towers and battlements.

Haughton castle is in owned privately and so is not open to the public.
