Photographs of Portugal and Madeira

Historically Portugal has not been as popular with British holiday makers, as it's neighbour, Spain.

After having visited Madeira, a Portuguese Island in the Atlantic Ocean, not far from the Spanish Canary Islands, it was decided to have a holiday based in the Hotel Montechoro in Albufeira, part of the Algarve, in the south of the country, from where it is easy to book a trip up to the capital of Portugal Lisbon.
